When people describe me, the term old soul comes to mind. I like bowties over ties, suspenders over belts and dress boots over dress shoes. I love all types of music but often find myself listening to the 1950*s and 60*s. I am a published author who writes old school horror and science fiction. Yet, I am modern in my thinking. I am also a blue collar worker who does a community affairs program and documentaries on the side. I want a woman who is a free spirit, creative, quirky (she follows her own ways, not what others demand of her) and maybe just a little bit kooky. I **** stereotypes and strive not to fit myself into them and I expect my future companion to do the same. One last thing, while I have entertained notions of parenthood at my age (and I am flattered by the attention of younger women), I would prefer women between 35-53.
