I am witty, intelligent, good humored, wise enough. I am a computer scientist. Most of my career has been on the edge between research and new products with significant stints in teaching. My best s**** is teaching. Right now, my 12 year old son needs me to help him grow up. This is about as rewarding as anything can be, however tiring, exasperating, and difficult it may seem at times. I have 50/50 custody and he spends about half his time with me. I make the best chocolate mousse anybody has ever had. I can*t imagine why somebody here would be interested. My intellectual interests are eclectic and I read a book or two a week. My music collection is enormous, but so you won*t be mislead, you will have to work hard to convince that any pop since about 1975 is actually music. And I like all the normal restaurants, foods, shows, movies, TV, sports, ... I*m sure we can find common ground somewhere. A word about my personal philosophy. Although I am not in any sense religious, it is summed up in the passage from I Corinthians 13 that ends And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity. I have faith in people, I hope for the best in myself and them, and I strive to show charity in every way. For a very long time, it has been my work and my relationships that have mattered to me. I take my responsibilities seriously: • To my two boys (27 and 12) so that they can grow into mature men themselves. • To the people I work with so that together we can learn and build things that make the world a little better. • To the larger world where I can make a difference. My particular s****s are intellectual and driven by ideas, so my contribution to the world has to be to help people understand how the world works. • To my partner whom I want to love and support and enjoy life with to the best of my ability. I want the woman I find here to be the best possible relationship for her and for me. I think a long term relationship is composed equally of physical attraction, mutual ***uality, intellectual enjoyment, emotional warmth, ethical strength, shared activities, and just plain fun.
